Why Will Workers Work
Under Socialism?

Today we ask ourselves what motives workers under socialism? We look to Mr. Jackson Palmer's book "The Proletarian Incentive" to find an answer to this question.

Palmer says, "Socialism reunites what capitalism has broken.  It binds the individual to the collective, not through coercion but through shared purpose.  The success of one becomes the success of all."

These truthful lines unbury what the ruling class in the United States of America would rather remain hidden and buried beneath heaps of propaganda.  The fact is, capitalism holds back the potential of each individual worker and the working class, and society as a whole.  Meager wages are not the best motivator.

Making things better for our friends, family, and neighbors is.  Recognition and honor from our community is.  Having the things we need not to simply survive but to thrive is.  Motivation is not dependent upon working to make someone else richer.
